IndexAtlas is an investment group with over 20 years of experience and more than 50 successful exits in the media, ecommerce and luxury segments around the world.

In 2017 IndexAtlas moved its headquarters from New York to Basel (Switzerland) and, to accommodate its larger capital base, broadened its investment strategy to focus on listed mid-caps in sports, education, media & entertainment. This led to another series of very successful exits from now much larger deals, specifically those made on the back of global content production, streaming and content-commerce, such as investments in Swiss Highlight Event & Entertainment AG, French-German Nexway/asknet, and American FuboTV, that IndexAtlas brought to highly successful IPO at NYSE in September 2020.

Originally established in New York in 2000 as an investment advisory firm, IndexAtlas has built its brand and access by becoming the leading investor in the global art business helping to transform it from artisanal cottage industry to the well capitalized “business of culture” that enjoyed two decades of uninterrupted growth since then. IndexAtlas’ landmark deals of that time were successful exits from Artnet, Skate’s, Artnews, Paddle8, Viennafair, and Poly Culture Group among others.

In late 2021 in response to profound changes in the global politics IndexAtlas exited most of its investments and suspended any active new capital allocations.

In May 2023 IndexAtlas resumed investment activities and shifted its focus towards servicing cross border capital flows between the largest East Asian economies (Japan, South Korea and Greater China) and the rest of the world, assisting small and mid-cap listed North American, European and Asian companies in media, entertainment and ecommerce services segments with their international business development strategies and supporting investment.

INVESTORS

All of our investments are funded and managed through carefully and cost efficiently designed investment vehicles and products catering to the best transparency, liquidity, tax efficiency requirements and applicable regulation, with IndexAtlas and its partner banks arranging for the issuance of approximately $2.1 billion in securities and structured products in 2017-2023 to finance various investment strategies during that time.

Mr. Skaterschikov remains the 100% owner and non-executive Chairman of IndexAtlas Group.

Our key assets are the trust of our co-investors and a highly experienced and discrete international team of 28 professionals located across Europe and North America.

IndexAtlas counts over 50 international family offices among its prior and current co-investors, we value their privacy, understand their investment preferences and are squarely focused on delivering them the best-in-class returns on investments arranged or otherwise led by IndexAtlas.

IndexAtlas has been established in New York in 2000 by Mr. Sergey Skaterschikov. A seasoned special situation investor with decades of both entrepreneurial and corporate experience across both sides of Atlantic, Mr. Skaterschikov has built IndexAtlas as a cross-border investment firm specialized on media and digital economy, with dozens of transactions and successful investments completed since then.

A banking professional with over ten years’ experience in client facing roles. In his roles, he has provided financial services for retail as well as private clients, adhering to local and global regulatory, compliance and risk management standards.

For the past year, he has successfully managed a book of USD 900 mln AuM for ultra-high/high net worth international clients, at Credit Suisse, Zürich.

He joined Index Atlas in January 2020, and is responsible for the investor relations department.
